at the edge of the world sat life and death. humans smiled . the world smiled. each thinking their loneliness was ended. humans, thinking the world without being, souless, unique, could be claimed, possessed. the world shuddered, again violently more than once, but kindly, [to a world] reminding humans. that life and death was at the edge waiting, teaching, taking, giving.. taking their due. the world, humans, life and death, must share.. without day night fire ice devil's fear god's might love hate live die
